Tommasi is a family-run winery founded in 1902, which for four generations has handed down the love for quality grapes that grow in the vineyards of Valpolicella, a fascinating land between Lake Garda and the city of Verona.

Currently the vineyards and estates are located in different regions of Italy for a total of about 570 hectares: Tommasi Viticoltori in Veneto; Tenuta Caseo in Oltrepò Pavese, in Lombardy; Podere Casisano in Montalcino and Poggio al Tufo in Maremma Tuscany; Masseria Surani in Manduria Puglia and Paternoster in Basilicata.

The mission of the Tommasi Family is to become a reference point for the sustainable development of the wine economy and authentic Italian wine tourism. The adoption of good eco-sustainable practices is the prerogative in the production of healthy and excellent quality grapes, which are the flag of Italy in the world.

Among the main sustainable activities adopted are the reduced use of pesticides, the use of a special machinery to control the amount of low-impact substances sprayed into vineyards, organic fertilization and installation of insulated panels for water heating and energy saving.
